Danny Hernandez is an Admissions Specialist at Avanza Education. She graduated from the American School of Tegucigalpa in 2018 and navigated the college admissions process with resilience and adaptability — earning admission to Louisiana State University and Florida International University through the First-Year Global Program, along with a scholarship for her first year.
She later expanded her college experience through the National Student Exchange, completing a semester at Louisiana State University. That journey gave her a unique perspective on college transitions and campus life across different academic environments.
Beyond the classroom, Danny served as Vice President of the National Exchange Program and volunteered at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival (SOBEWFF), building a strong record of student leadership and community involvement.
Her direct experience with college transitions, student leadership, and campus life grounds the thoughtful, personal guidance she brings to her students at Avanza. She understands firsthand what it means to apply from Honduras and adapt to a new university environment in the US.
